Mission
We're looking for a Full-Time Tax Advisor who will focus on delivering high-value advisory, bookkeeping, and tax preparation to an assigned client portfolio. In this role, you'll lead 4-5 client Zoom calls per day, develop and implement customized tax strategies, oversee tax return preparation, and collaborate closely via Slack with our internal team, including the COO and Chief of Staff. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing fulfillment role where your ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly, interpret financial statements like a savvy investor, and bring a personable, tech-savvy presence to our client relationships matters most. Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality tax advisory services to existing clients through scheduled meetings and ongoing communication
- Lead advisory Zoom calls and client-facing planning sessions, maintaining a healthy workload of 4-5 client calls per day
- Create comprehensive client recap memos post-call outlining progress, tax liability projections, and reduction strategies
- Develop and implement customized tax strategies based on client goals and financial situations
- Identify and recommend additional services (e.g., Accounting, Tax Resolution) when appropriate during client interactions
- Prepare tax returns and conduct day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for clients
- Interpret and analyze financial statements with investor-level sophistication
- Coordinate with internal accounting and tax teams on compliance matters via Slack, ensuring fast response times
- Take ownership of any errors or discrepancies and ensure they are corrected promptly and properly
- Draft clear, thoughtful client communications and memos, leveraging tools like ChatGPT and Fathom for optimization
- Research IRS rules, regulations, and planning strategies to support client-specific recommendations
- Prepare and review U.S. tax returns when necessary (1040, 1120S, 1065, Schedule E, etc.)
- Support clients with real estate, business, and entity-level tax strategies
- Maintain organized client files, deliverables, and documentation of planning work
- Utilize Excel functions such as pivot tables, SUMIF, and VLOOKUP for analysis and workpapers
- Work with ASC 740 book-to-tax workpapers prior to preparing returns
- Support clients during audits or IRS inquiries, coordinating responses and documentation
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables and filings in accordance with IRS deadlines
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 3+ years (Big Four firm experience like PwC, EY, Deloitte is highly valued)
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree in Tax Law or Advanced Accounting preferred
- CRM Tool: Not required
- Softwares: QuickBooks Online (proficiency required), ChatGPT (for prompting/memo drafting), Fathom (for call recording/memos), Slack (for fast-paced team communication), Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP), ASC 740 workpapers, tax preparation software (1040, 1120S, 1065), Zoom
- Industry Knowledge Required: U.S. tax law, IRS regulations, and sophisticated financial statement analysis

Technical Requirements

Position Description
- Working Hours: 8,5 hours, Between 3:30 PM and 12:00 AM Beirut Time.
- Working Days: 5 days a week
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
- Work Location: Fully-remote, you can work from anywhere
- PTO (Paid Time Off): 14 days of approved Lebanese national holidays per year (candidate to provide advanced notice)
- Salary Range: $2,500 - $2,700
