Lifecycle & Retention Designer

🌏 Remote (US Citizens / US Residents Only - W2)

⏰ 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

💰 $3,500 – $5,000 USD/month

Company Overview

It is one of the world's largest and most robust growth marketing agencies, boasting a global team of 170+ passionate leaders and creative professionals. The organization specializes in local lead generation, e-commerce, and info-marketing—serving a diverse portfolio that ranges from automotive and local shops to online consumer brands and digital coaching programs. Operating with a remote-first mindset, the company invests heavily in training, continuous support, and cultivating a high-performing culture focused on extreme ownership, collaborative innovation, and measurable client growth.

Mission

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and performance-driven Lifecycle & Retention Designer to own the creation of captivating email and SMS campaigns, flows, and popups that drive high CTRs and conversions. In this role, copy and design are held to equal standards—you will write subject lines, body copy, and SMS text while building scroll-stopping visual assets, modular templates, and custom UI graphics. If you enjoy studying top-performing e-commerce brands, analyzing campaign performance data, running A/B tests proactively, and pushing creative boundaries within established brand guidelines, you’ll feel right at home.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.

  • Create compelling, high-converting email and SMS campaigns, automated flows, and popups that align with client branding guidelines.

  • Write and own all copy elements—including subject lines, preview text, body copy, CTAs, and SMS messages—across multiple unique brand voices.

  • Design and develop email templates, UI icons, custom GIFs, and modular design systems that can be adapted across multiple brands.

  • Execute daily work within Klaviyo: designing, slicing, resizing, and building email templates directly inside the platform.

  • Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests for both design and copy elements, using performance data to drive iterative improvements.

  • Actively research email/SMS trends, analyze competitor strategies, and bring fresh concepts and inspiration to accounts proactively.

  • Monitor account analytics regularly; identify underperforming funnels and propose strategic creative iterations.

  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers, execute efficiently from creative briefs, and maintain high first-draft accuracy to minimize revisions.

  • Maintain brand consistency across fonts, color palettes, and visual assets for a portfolio of diverse client accounts.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 2–3+ years of graphic design experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or agency environments

  • CRM / ESP Tools: Klaviyo experience is strongly preferred; Postscript or Attentive experience is a plus (training provided as needed)

  • Softwares: Advanced proficiency in Figma (required); working knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva; basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a strong plus

  • Industry Knowledge Required: E-commerce, lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, typography, layout principles, and brand design systems

  • Citizenship / Eligibility: US Citizens / US Residents only (W2 position)

  • Specific Gender: No preference

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong dual proficiency in graphic design and copy writing for email and SMS platforms

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce retention metrics, CTA placement, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

  • Data-informed mindset with the ability to review campaign analytics and translate data into creative tests

  • High creative curiosity with a habit of researching market trends and studying top e-commerce brands

  • Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple client workloads simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for daily team collaboration and brief execution

  • Portfolio requirement: A portfolio demonstrating range across brand aesthetics, email design, and written copy samples is required

Technical Requirements

  • Own PC or laptop capable of running Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and web design tools smoothly

  • High-speed, reliable internet connection

  • Quiet, professional workspace suitable for remote team collaboration

Position Description

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

  • Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday through Friday)

  • Days Off: Saturday and Sunday

  • Work Location: Fully-remote (US Residents / US Citizens only - W2)

  • PTO & Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid US Holidays, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage

  • Salary Range: $3,500 – $5,000
