Job Description:
CRO-Focused Web Designer
Company Overview
It is a fast-growing performance marketing and digital growth agency that helps direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands scale through high-converting web experiences, performance-driven landing pages, and comprehensive funnel optimization. The company focuses heavily on data-backed, conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies that turn traffic into measurable revenue. Operating in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, the team values high ownership, creative data execution, and continuous optimization, offering a clear growth path for ambitious team members as the agency scales.
Mission
We are looking for a highly analytical and creative CRO-Focused Web Designer to join our team and own the visual conversion strategy for our brand portfolio. Reporting directly to the Design Lead, you will bridge the gap between stunning aesthetic layouts and data-driven conversion metrics, crafting landing pages and web assets engineered to maximize user engagement and revenue. If you are a digital designer who thrives on combining data insights with cutting-edge layouts, obsessing over user psychology and visual hierarchy, and looking for a clear path to scale your professional career within a growing team, you'll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.
- Design custom, high-converting landing pages, sales funnels, and web architectures specifically tailored to improve DTC brand conversion rates (CRO).
- Conduct visual user experience audits, analyzing performance data, click maps, and user behavior to translate insights into high-yield UI modifications.
- Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity user interface (UI) mockups that seamlessly balance aesthetic identity with direct-response optimization.
- Execute structured A/B testing variations for critical landing page assets, optimizing elements like hero banners, call-to-actions (CTAs), structures, and headlines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional performance marketing, copywriting, and development teams to ensure design implementation matches structural intent.
- Maintain absolute visual design alignment with client brand identity guidelines while pushing the envelope on direct-response conversion performance.
- Present design frameworks and strategy recommendations to the Design Lead and participate in collaborative creative feedback loops.
- Support ongoing internal design asset creations, optimization assets, and scaling initiatives across our digital brand channels.

- Industry Knowledge Required: Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce structures, conversion design psychology, standard responsive layout parameters, visual hierarchy principles, and technical digital marketing funnels.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong direct-response design mindset with a deep focus on metrics like conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and user engagement instead of just vanity aesthetics.
- Flawless understanding of responsive mobile-first grid systems, typesetting hierarchy, and optimal cross-device interaction patterns.
- High strategic competence in parsing data trends and heatmaps to implement precise layout solutions that remove user friction.
- Excellent presentation and structured communication habits to articulate design logic and optimization frameworks clearly.
- High ownership, a proactive attitude toward receiving structured creative feedback, and a passion for iterating past original milestones.
- Organized and systematic management of multiple design sprints under tight brand timelines.
Technical Requirements
- Own PC or laptop optimized for heavy graphics workflows, web rendering, and asset processing.
- High-speed, reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended).
- Full command over high-fidelity wireframing software setups (Figma, local extensions, asset packages) and professional design tool ecosystems.
- Ability to connect seamlessly to remote conferencing apps for collaborative team syncs and video reviews.
