Company Overview
We are a results-driven, US-based health-tech company building a unified, multi-tenant SaaS platform for clinics, telehealth, and pharmacy commerce. The platform brings onboarding, ordering, prescriptions, pricing, payments, and fulfillment into one system, featuring white-label storefronts that let partner clinics sell under their own brand. Built to a strict HIPAA standard, our technical stack consists of Node.js/Express, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with a React Native mobile app on the upcoming roadmap. Our engineering department operates as a small, senior, AI-augmented team utilizing modern AI tooling heavily, hiring specifically for high judgment, deep ownership, and strategic product direction.
Mission
We're looking for a senior, "A-player" Product Designer (UI/UX) to own end-to-end product design across four distinct portals (Patient, Doctor, Clinic, Admin). You will architect and scale a unified multi-tenant design system that powers hundreds of branded storefronts across web and native mobile from a single codebase. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong systems thinking, understand clinical/regulatory constraints, and can translate complex healthcare workflows into seamless, high-trust user experiences without requiring extensive SOPs — you'll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.
- Own and scale the multi-tenant design system: components, tokens, theming architecture, and documentation across web and native mobile.
- Design complete end-to-end user flows across all four portals, from patient intake and clinical reviews to e-prescribing and package tracking.
- Apply mobile-first and responsive design principles as a default across phones, tablets, and wide desktop displays.
- Turn complex clinical, regulatory, and privacy constraints into simple, intuitive, and accessible interface designs.
- Collaborate directly with senior engineers daily, shipping clear, code-aware specs and variables developers can build from without guessing.
- Design for trust and safety across sensitive patient health interactions, intake forms, and payment checkouts.
- Rapidly prototype, test with real clinic operators and patient users, and iterate based on feedback and data.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG) standards are built directly into components as a default rather than a cleanup task.
- Leverage modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate ideation, iteration, and spec creation.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience designing complex digital products with a portfolio of shipped web and mobile applications.
- Domain Experience: Experience in healthcare, telehealth, pharmacy, or another heavily regulated domain where user error carries high real-world impact.
- Software & Tools: Figma mastery (variables, auto-layout, component architecture), Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui familiarity, React Native / Expo familiarity, and modern prototyping tools.
- Industry Knowledge Required: Multi-tenant/white-label platform design, clinical information design (dosage, prescriptions, health records, consent), HIPAA-compliant UI patterns, and responsive web/mobile conventions.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep systems thinking with proven experience building or substantially extending scalable design systems.
- Code-aware design approach (understanding components, states, tokens, and responsive web/mobile behavior).
- Strong communication skills and fluency in written English to collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team.
- Ability to work autonomously as an individual contributor, making high-level decisions and defending them with clear rationale.
- Product-mindset with a strong focus on business context, user trust, and end-to-end conversion economics.
- Adaptability to iterate rapidly and change direction when presented with better evidence or data.
Technical Requirements
- Own PC or laptop capable of handling heavy Figma files and interactive prototyping.
- Reliable internet connection (high-speed connection required).
- Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace for team syncs.
- Full mastery and advanced access to Figma (variables, libraries, and design tokens).
- Ability to inspect and reference front-end component implementations (Tailwind CSS, React / React Native frameworks).
Position Description
- Working Hours: Task-based framework requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with mandatory availability for meetings between 5 PM and 1 AM Beirut Time (US overlap).
- Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday through Friday).
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday.
- Work Location: Fully-remote, you can work from anywhere.
- PTO (Paid Time Off): Approved time off on Lebanese national holidays (with client approval).
- Salary Range: $3,500
