CRO Strategist
Job Description:
CRO Strategist
Company Overview
It is a fast-growing conversion rate optimization (CRO) agency focused on helping e-commerce brands unlock more revenue from their existing traffic. Working primarily with 7–9 figure DTC brands (ranging from $100K to $5M a month in revenue), the team uses data-driven experimentation, UX best practices, and measurable testing to optimize websites, landing pages, full page redesigns, and user journeys. The company is fully remote, collaborative, and committed to a results-oriented, fast-paced culture that values speed, direct impact, and continuous career growth without corporate bureaucracy or pointless meetings.
Mission
We're looking for a CRO Strategist who will completely own the strategy, execution, and analysis of CRO programs for our clients. On a typical day you'll run quantitative and qualitative research, build data-driven hypotheses, prioritize testing roadmaps, coordinate with designers and developers to create A/B and multivariate tests, and present clear, actionable insights to clients. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and directly with clients to turn experimentation into massive revenue growth.
If you enjoy working in a high-growth environment, love turning data into clear recommendations, and take pride in strong client communication and complete account ownership (no babysitting here) — you'll feel right at home among a team of high-performing experts.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence.
- Own the end-to-end CRO process and strategy for assigned client pods, from research and ideation to test execution and reporting

- Drive the overall strategy for the client while guiding a dedicated squad of designers, developers, and project managers to push tests live
- Conduct quantitative research using Google Analytics/GA4, Shopify Analytics, and other analytics platforms to identify conversion barriers
- Run qualitative research including heatmaps, session recordings, user testing, surveys, and interviews (utilizing recordings selectively to dive deeper into specific friction points)
- Develop data-driven hypotheses and prioritize a testing roadmap based on estimated impact and effort
- Lead test management, tracking, and oversight to ensure experiments are launched on schedule and consistently deliver results (Note: This role focuses on strategy and management, not hands-on test design/coding)
- Review CRO page redesigns to ensure they are rooted in customer psychology and high-converting data points
- Analyze test results with appropriate statistical methods and translate findings into practical, actionable insights for the client
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, shifting gears and switching contexts quickly without losing quality, clarity, or momentum
- Take absolute responsibility for account momentum, problem-solving, and the overall client experience

Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional written and fluent spoken English with total confidence in client-facing communication
- Obsessed with numbers, data understanding, and testing hypotheses to make clients more money
- Thrives under pressure, loves rapid growth, and actively seeks out big results over routine comfort
- Highly independent, decisive, resourceful, and accountable for moving projects forward independently
- Strict respect for deadlines with a habit of proactive communication
- Operates with high speed and urgency, matching a fast-growing team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and draw actionable conclusions
- Comfortable managing experiments and working with designers/developers to implement tests
