​Mission

​We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to own both frontend architecture and backend systems across our brand storefronts and internal tooling. You'll be the lead developer on a small but fast-moving team, driving headless Shopify builds, designing the backend/API layer, and shipping features across multiple live DTC brands. This is a hands-on engineering role where you write clean code, design highly scalable systems, and own outcomes end-to-end. Real ownership, real impact.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Frontend Systems: Architect and build high-performance storefronts using React and Next.js; define rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, Edge) based on product and SEO requirements; and optimize Core Web Vitals across critical user flows (PDP, PLP, checkout).
• ​Backend & API Layer: Design and implement backend services using Next.js API routes, serverless functions, and Node.js-based services; build data orchestration layers to aggregate data from Shopify, CMS, and third-party systems; and manage GraphQL/REST integrations including Shopify Admin API, webhooks, and Shopify Functions.
• ​Platform & System Design: Design scalable, multi-brand architecture across storefronts and internal tools; define abstraction layers between the commerce platform and frontend applications; and integrate production monitoring/error tracking tools like Sentry.
• ​Engineering Ownership: Set and enforce engineering standards across the full stack, conduct rigorous code reviews focused on system design, and debug complex production issues across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• ​AI Tool Integration: Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot) as a core, daily part of your engineering workflow.Measure system reliability, revenue impact, and operational performance
• Iterate rapidly based on live deployment feedback
• Prepare scaling plan for additional locations and multi-tenant expansion

Qualifications

• ​Years of Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong, demonstrable expertise across both frontend and backend systems.
• ​CRM/Platform Experience: High proficiency with the Shopify environment (Storefront API, Admin API, webhooks, and Shopify Functions).
• ​Softwares: React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, GraphQL, REST, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, Upstash, Vercel, Git/GitHub, and Sentry.
• ​Industry Knowledge Required: Deep understanding of headless commerce infrastructure, rendering tradeoffs, SEO fundamentals, Core Web Vitals optimization, database schema design, and serverless/edge workflows. Experience in DTC or high-performance e-commerce environments is required.

​Skills & Competencies

• ​Expert-level frontend capabilities in managing design systems, reusable components, and state architecture across large-scale applications.
• ​Strong backend API architecture design skills, including caching strategies across CDN, edge functions, and server-side layers.
• ​Excellent full-stack debugging and problem-solving skills across client, server, and network environments.
• ​Ability to collaborate directly with product, design, and brand teams at the level of technical feasibility and strategic tradeoffs rather than just task execution.
• ​High agency and technical independence to manage security best practices, web authentication, and data flow architecture.

​Technical Requirements

• ​Own PC or laptop.
• ​Reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended).
• ​Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace.
• ​Active expertise utilizing modern AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) inside daily coding workflows.
• ​Comfortable working with database ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle) and background jobs (queues, cron, event-driven workflows).
• ​Solid testing experience across the stack (unit, integration, API, and E2E using Playwright, Vitest, Jest, or Cypress).

​Nice to Have

• ​3–5 years of React Native or Flutter experience (mobile app projects are on the upcoming roadmap).
• ​Experience with Shopify Hydrogen / Oxygen.
• ​Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Fastify.
• ​Hands-on CI/CD pipeline setup and management experience.
• ​Comfort with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integrations and agentic development workflows.

Position Description

• Working Hours: Full-time – 8 hours per day
• ​Working Days: Monday to Friday
• ​Days Off: Saturday & Sunday
• ​Work Location: Fully-remote, you can work from anywhere
• ​PTO (Paid Time Off): Standard PTO policy (to be discussed during the hiring process)
• Salary Range: $3,000 - $3,500
